art scholarship for maine graduating seniors

The first annual Art Thru Meagan's Eyes artist scholarship:

Mission:
The goal is to provide a financial support to young aspiring artists. 

The current minimum amount that can be won is $750. Any additional donations will be added to the fund or potentially divided between the top two artists, this will be based on the judges decision.

Donors can be viewed on the side panel of this page. Please support these great companies who strive to support the arts in Maine.

Criteria:
Graduating high school senior in the state of Maine.  Any art forms are acceptable for application.

Requirements:
Send email with following requirements

1. Attach a piece of your artwork that you are most proud of.

2. Attach a piece of your artwork that you are disappointed with.

3. Send in an essay of any length that explains why art is important to you, and how you use/plan to use art to make the world a better place. The essay will be critiqued purely on content, not on academic skill.

Dates:
Deadline for applications is June 1, 2024.
The announcement of the winner is June 15, 2024.

Permissions:
By applying you are giving permission for me to use your images/writings in any advertising of future scholarships (with proper credit given).
